Culture

Cyso was founded in 1997 by three students, the same ones that are still at the helm today of an organization that currently counts 50 employees. Cyso has an open and informal atmosphere. Together, we’re a close-knit team that likes to do fun things together. We use multiple online and offline channels to share photos, jokes, facts and whatnot with each other. With us, you can be and express who you are. We’re a flexible employer where you enjoy a lot of freedom.

With our teams and departments as well as the whole company, we enjoy doing fun things together. For those interested, we regularly organize evenings where we tinker with technology while enjoying pizza, fries and beer.

Technology

Working at Cyso means working with the latest internet and cloud technology. We use state-of-the-art equipment for our fiber network, storage appliances, anti-DDoS services and much more. In everyday practice we deploy the latest open and closed source software to deliver our hosting services, like big data and object storage applications, container services and cloud computing. In short: at Cyso you get to play with the serious toys of an IT professional.

Our office

Our office is centrally located almost next to Alkmaar’s central train station and very near to the historic buildings of our picturesque city center. In our office, you’re the director of your own personal workplace. You get to decide what type of workstation to use and what chair you’d like to sit on. We also have an awesome terrace where you can work in the summer. Every Friday, we have a drink and, weather permitting, we fire up the barbecue. Just because it’s fun and because we can.
